Snakestripe's eyes snapped to Thorn. They immediately became hard.
Then they turned back to Blitz.
"Listen up, son. I didn't want to hurt my children like my father did. But if you insist..."
The former leader started to slowly pad forward, claws unsheathing, teeth baring.

She stared back at him, her eyes reflecting his. "Blitz, come on. Stop messing with Blade, or you'll get hurt." she hissed through gritted teeth.

Snakestripe launched himself forward, his claws slashing through Blitz's side. He turned, ready to dodge a counter attack.

Blitz snarled. His pelt was now stained with blood of a new scar. He was about to reel back, and return the attack, when Thorn knocked her son over. "Listen, I can't bear to see another one of my kits get hurt by kin," she was obviously referring to Kass, Crow's brother. She turned to Snakestripe. "But I can bear to hurt you," she snarled.

Blitz hissed, and let a low growl escape his throat. He bit back a retort, watching Thorn intently.
