Snakestar raised his voice for all to hear. "Thorn, from this moment you shall now be known as Thorntooth." He meowed. "But until we can prove your loyalty, you must take on apprentice duties. You can start by cleaning out the elder's den. I'm sure Littlecloud wouldn't mind." He snickered.

Snakestar's cold blue eyes raked over LionClan before he jumped down and headed for his den.
Tigerfrost was watching Thorntooth intently, his long, curved claws digging into the dirt.
Foxstorm sat beside her brother, her tail flicking back and forth.

Rowanstar prepared to jump down, for the meeting was over, when some cat spoke up.
"I must say something."
The three leaders looked up to see Hollyleaf standing beside her ShadowClan mate, Redwillow. It was the first time she was out of the nursery since she had her kits, who were now peeking out of the nursery.
"What do you have to say, Hollyleaf?" Lionstar prompted.
Hollyleaf looked evenly at her brother. "Prey is getting scarce. Very rarely do we leave RiverClan territory. But now...the clan is too big. I think it is time we split up."
Rowanstar's eyes were wide. "You say such a thing, when your kits are halfclan?"
"I am not saying we split up into four clans. We must split into two. I think my kits and Ashstar's are a perfect example of which clans should go together. ShadowClan and ThunderClan, RiverClan and WindClan."
Redwillow lifted his chin, identifying that he agreed with his mate.

Smogtail gaped in disbelief, and whispered something to Scorchpelt.

Snakestar looked at his mate. At least they would still be together.
"What would we call the new clan? Who would keep LionClan?"
Rowanstar's eyes were narrowed. "But what about BloodClan? They are our shared enemy- Would we mark borders between the two clans?"
"Of course." Lionstar meowed. "We will fight together against BloodClan, but we will resume to be rivals. Ivypool, I would like to talk separate from everyone."
The large golden tabby jumped down and padded over to his deputy.

Ashstar sighed."I do not know," She looked away from him, looking up. "I wonder what Starclan thinks of this..."
Thorntooth shook out her fur, thinking about what her son could be doing now, and what everything would come to.

Bramblekit and Larchkit padded outside the nursery, closely followed by Heathertail and Breezepelt's kit, Blizzardkit.
After much thought, the three leaders agreed to split up.
"RiverClan and WindClan will remain here." Snakestar announced. "And we will be keeping the name LionClan."
"Then we will go, with the name TigerClan." Rowanstar meowed. "The clan with the most survivors is ThunderClan, therefore some of their cats must stay, in order for the clans to be even."
Lionstar growled.
Snakestar looked up. "There are nineteen cats in WindClan and RiverClan. ThunderClan and ShadowClan have twenty four."
Ivypool stood up. "That means two cats should stay. Any volunteers?"
Blossomfall and Icecloud raised their tails.
"We would like to stay where our siblings died, Foxleap and Briarlight."
"Very well." Lionstar mewed. "The rest of you, let's go. We will make camp in ThunderClan's hollow."
Rowanstar was about to protest, when Oakfur hissed.
"I would also like to stay." The brown cat meowed.
"Then a cat from RiverClan or WindClan must come." Lionstar said.
Tigerfrost was snarling. His plans were being ruined.
Then suddenly a thought hit his mind.
"I would like to join ShadowClan." He announced.
"What!?" Snakestar spat.
