"Snakestar was born to Tigerfur and Snowbird in Bloodclan. His original name was Blade. He was raised to be the next leader, and when his father had been murdered, he assumed the throne. Later He and I became mates and had kits. I was Thorn of Bloodclan back then. When our kits had grown up, they kicked him out of the clan, and our firstborn son claimed leadership. Blade soon met with the four clans, grouped up as Lionclan, and was given a warrior name, Snakestripe. A moon later, My sons plotted to kill Reedstar, the leader of Riverclan at that time. Python went alone disguised and Snakestripe had woken up to check on The clan leaders. Python was caught by Snakestripe, but he made it look like he was some made-up cat named Hawkfoot, mate to Ashstar. Snakestripe had a suspicion about this cat, and when Python had been killing Reedstar, Snakestripe heard and stopped Python, soon discovering his son's lie. He tore open Python's throat, and with his last words, Reedstar made Snakestripe Leader of Riverclan. I'm assuming you know the rest," Thorntooth meowed.

Coalspot twitched an ear.
"I'd hate to sound stupid, but I think I envy you a little bit." He meowed. "Its gotta be hard losing loved ones, but BloodClan cats always seem to have something going on. Like, never a dull moment. Not to mention that BloodClan seems to spawn a lot of successful cats."
