Shade padded through the alleys of twolegplace, then kept going, through the forest on the other side until she came to the grove with the waterfall. She lay down in the shade of the large willow tree and watched the pounding water as it cascaded over the cliff.
Fang was angry. He wasn't exactly sure why, maybe it was because he had been called weak, but maybe it was because they were right. He slunk through the alleys, his claws unsheathed, his fur bristling and his eyes fiery. Scenting other cats, he followed the trail, coming upon a large group of rogues and in his anger, slew them all in seconds, blood spilling onto the stones around him. Bloodclan would become strong again.
Wolf saw what Fang had done from the top of a building where he had watched, wide-eyed. He watched the warrior pry a tooth from the mouth of each cat and stab them into his collar. Then, with the blood of the rogues all over his paws and sticking to his fur, he left the alley, moving on, still angry. Wolf leapt down from the building, padding into the alley and looking at the bodies of the rogues in amazement. He prodded one with a paw and found it still warm. Slowly, he backed away from the pools of blood and the bodies, running from the alley.

He stepped into an alley as black as night and prodded forth cautiously.
A sniffing noise could be heard, and then a loud growling.
Blitz stopped, and waited a moment.
A pair of scarlet eyes ominously gazed at him, and a sliver of moonlight shone through a cloud. For a moment, a pair of slavering jaws was visible. Rows of bloodstained teeth shone, and a rank stench hung in the air.
Blitz approached the creature, ears flat against his head, and his stomach fur lightly brushing the stone-like terrain beneath him.

The creature growled, and let out a yawn, eyes on the cat that approached him.

Crow looked down on her kits, their eyes were the dazzling sapphire kit-blue. In time, their true eye color would show. She thought for a moment, thinking they deserved names. She examined the white and black one. "Isolde," she murmered, and "Amber."

The kits' eye colors were slowly developing.
