Blitz's eyes widened. Maybe he could have leadership, or he could just stay a lowly failure. Leading a small clan was hard enough for him, and leading a bigger clan might make him more or less respected. "Well, won't she recognize us, then?"
Crow shrugged. "I could take a warrior name first, but the leadership thing, maybe."

Fang turned his dark gaze on Tigerstar. "I'd be willing," he growled, sheathing and unsheathing his bloodstained claws.

Blitz sighed. Obviously an ambitious and bloodthirsty cat like Fang would vouch for leadership. He wondered what it would be like to live with him as a leader. Probably better than my rule, he thought angrily at himself.
Crow looked to Fang, blinking slowly.
Isolde squirmed out of her mother grip, falling down on the ground. She picked herself up with ease with a huff, then circling her mother defiantly, then sitting down as she glared at her sister, who gave a hiss of annoyance.

"Crow, you are first then, and Fang, you may have leadership, although your name will not be Fangstar. That is not a true warrior name." Tigerstar meowed.
Hawkfur raised his tail. "Are these cats fit to be warriors?"
Larchwing nodded. "They know nothing of the code, or have never gone through Apprentice training. How can they make up another clan?"
"They will be part of TigerClan..." Tigerstar trailed off. "Perhaps you are right. There will be no leader except for me." He growled. "You will all be warriors. Now, Crow, Fang, you will be the first to receive your new names. Do you both promise to uphold the warrior code, and to protect and defend it, even at the cost of your own lives?"

Tigerstar meowed. "And Fang, I understand you were once called Tigerkit, but that is a name I cannot grant you. From this moment you will be known as Thistlefur. StarClan honors your virtues as well."
