Jag watched his mother and his mentor go, unsheathing his claws. One day, that would be him. He would be chosen to hunt kittypets and to spread the fear of Bloodclan.

Blitz had his ears flattened, and turned let, to where some twoleg nests were. he slitted his eyes to look for a kittypet.

A kittypet couple was lying down, basking in the day. Their tails were twined, and they touched noses, purring.
Thorn slitted her eyes, muscles tensing and her claws sliding out to their full length.
Blitz noticed his mother's sudden change, but continued foward.
