Sandypaw nodded, padding over to Beechfoot. She inspected his paw.
"It's broken, and it's too late to heal it." She meowed. "He will forever have a limp and a twisted paw."

"Thank you," Ravenstar meowed. "Sandypaw, do you wish to become StormClan's Medicine Cat?"

"I do." Sandypaw meowed.

"Then by the power of StarClan, I give you your Medicine Cat name. Sandypaw, from this moment you will be known as Sandyfall, after the mentor that trained you." Ravenstar meowed.

The cats began to cheer. "Sandyf-"

"Wait!" Ravenstar yowled.

The cats became quiet.

"Beechfoot, step forward."

Beechfoot looked surprised, he took a step forward.

Ravenstar looked at the tom, his eyes narrowed. "You have shown so far that you can be a great warrior. It is unfortunate what has happened to your paw."

Beechfoot dipped his head, preparing to pad away.

"Beechfoot, from this moment you will now be known as Twistedfoot."
