She raised her muzzle and opened her jaws to inhale the scents. There was a faint smell of vole, a strong scent of squirrel, and a stronger smell of mouse. She headed in the direction of the mouse, figuring it was her best bet.
The creature was nibbling on a seed, round ears twitching nervously to hear if a predator was approaching. Belladonna steeped lightly on the earth, slowly creeping towards the rodent. She was hidden in the darkness, waiting for the perfect moment to pounce.
Her eyes gave away her position, and the mouse attempted to run. Belladonna pounced before it could squeak, and she quickly sliced it's throat.

Ravenstar looked at the mouse. "A true warrior hunts enough for the Clan. I will help you."

"We've wandered too far." A ginger tabby tom kittypet hissed. "I don't remember the way back."
"Shut up, Oliver." A tan tom with black stripes growled. "I've never been out of the house before. I don't want to go back, either. Those housefolk like to lock me in their room with them."
"You're lucky you can even go upstairs! I have to stay in the basement all day because of that little annoying dog." Oliver rolled his eyes.

Ravenstar heard the cats talking, and pricked his ears.
"A.J., let's go back, please. I don't like the look of these woods." Oliver meowed fearfully.
"You're such a coward." A.J. snorted.
