Leopardpaw flicked an ear, turning towards Thistlefur but just missing her. Her eyes narrowed.

Sagepaw took no notice of the cats following her, and continued her hunt.
She tried to fix up her act, her paws barely making any noise. She crouched and prowled forward, ears erect.

Thistlefur watched Sagepaw from the shadows, noticing how silently she was moving now compared to a moment ago.

( Bye! )
Sagepaw listened for the sounds and scents of more prey, waiting for the chirp of a bird or a scurry of a squirrel.

As she twitched an ear, she heard the scuttling of a creature. She sniffed the air. Vole. she commented in her head, grinning. she flattened her ears, and stalked over to where she had heard the creature.
It was nibbling on a seed, it's beady eyes bulging as it's whiskers twitched. It took no notice of the apprentice creeping up on it, until it had jerked it's head in her direction, and made a run for it's life.
Sagepaw followed it, her paws beating the ground lightly. She darted a paw out at it, and slammed it against a tree, knocking the breath out of the small and helpless creature. She snapped it's neck with ease and picked it up. Sagepaw carried it over to where she had buried her frog and dug it next to it.

Crowflight thought of another way to watch Leopardpaw. She climbed up a tree, and balanced herself on the branches, much like she used to balance on the wires on the poles of the city.
Lightningstorm watched Sagepaw with interest. She was seeming to get more of a hang of things.
Sagepaw blinked.

Deciding to continue her hunt, Sagepaw got back into her hunting position. This time she decided to hunt by tree. She started climbing the nearest tree, chipping a nail on her right hind paw. Sagepaw used her tail to balance herself, and scrambled ontona thick branch. She waited for a bird to fly by, her ears twitching.

(School is finally out, and the weather has been sketchy as... yup.)
Winterfur checked the camp barrier to make sure it was strong.
