Larchstar leapt up onto the limb of the tree from which she held clan meeting and her mew rang out around the camp. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather below for a clan meeting!"
Her gaze traveled around the assembled Shadowclan cats. "Shimmerpaw, Sharppaw, come forward," she meowed. "You both have trained long and hard and your mentors and I have agreed it is time for you to become warriors." Larchstar leapt down and padded up to Shimmerpaw.
"I, Larchstar, leader of Shadowclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn. Shimmerpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your clan, even at the cost of your life? "

"Then by the power of Starclan, I give you your warrior name. From this moment on, you will be known as Shimmersong, and Starclan honors your courage and wisdom." Larchstar rested her muzzle on top of Shimmersong's head.
((You can change the names if you like))
Then, turning to Sharppaw, she meowed, "I, Larchstar, leader of Shadowclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn. "Shimmersong! Sharpfang!" The cheer rang through the camp.

Larchstar nodded at them, her eyes gleaming. Then, she turned to Otternose and Rainstorm. "Dewkit, Palekit, Nightkit, Owlkit, Dovekit and Heatherkit, come here," she meowed. "You six have reached the age of six moons and it is time for you to be apprenticed." She turned to Dewkit first. "From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Dewpaw, Your mentor will be Bramblefur. I hope he will pass on all that he knows to you. Palekit, from this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Palepaw. Your mentor will be Creekfeather. Nightkit, from this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Nightpaw. Your mentor will be Darkfur. Owlkit, from this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Owlpaw. Your mentor will be Jaggedheart. Dovekit, from this day on until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Dovepaw. Your mentor will be Willowclaw. And finally, Heatherkit, from this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Heatherpaw. Your mentor will be Dawnheart."

Larchstar padded out into the forest to hunt. She parted her jaws, tasting the air. Picking up the scent of a squirrel, she dropped into a crouch, stalking forwards.

Larchstar carried her catch back to camp, depositing it on the fresh kill pile except for the squirrel, which she took back to her den.
