Leopard fell, blood pouring from her throat. Her eyes glazed over as she lost a life.
Mothstar narrowed her eyes.

Pinefoot jumped on Leopard's body. "We must finish it!" He yowled.
He was about to dig his claws in when Leopard snapped open her eyes and reared up, knocking him off. She turned and easily pinned a shocked Pinefoot to the ground. Her strength kept him there. "StormClan blood is getting more rare." She hissed. "And I will see it go extinct."
Mothstar lunged at her, slamming into Leopard's side. "No, Leopard. You won't live to see the end of this fight."

Solitaire picked up the conversation, backing away and recalculating her strategy.

Even with Mothstar's nine lives, Leopard was still stronger. The BloodClan leader rolled away, than sprang up, pinning Mothstar's shoulders. "You fool. BloodClan will always win. No matter what StarClan does, what they say, BloodClan will overcome. You are only an example."
The she-cat flipped Mothstar, claws extending toward her throat. "No cat, no matter how powerful, could defeat my Clan."

Eclipse and Larchstar continued to fight, each trying to gain the upper hand. Eclipse seemed to be winning.
Brisingr slashed her claws down Snakefang's flank, tearing through his pelt. Snakefang snarled and hooked his claws into her side, pushing her to the ground and lashing out with his hind claws.
